The CU Open 2008
The 2008 CU Open was held on November 29th at Cambridge Snooker Centre. Thirty entries were received and the following players were seeded into the draw:
Rob Hogan was able to successfully defend his title, defeating Rob Allen in the final.

Plate
A plate event was also run alongside the main event for those who lost their first matches. Josh Cadney met Lee Harris to complete an all-Queens' lineup in the two finals. Josh beat Lee 6-5 in a hard fought match to take the Plate title.
