The 2007 novices tournament was held on the 11th October and showed a high standard of pool. There were four group stages, each containing an esablished University player. The top two novices in each group went through to a knockout stage. The semi-finalists were Rob Allen, Lee Mager, Matt Scott and Chris Jenkins. In the end, Lee beat Chris 3-1 in the final. Now we need to recover the trophy for him! Several people will be tried out for the Uni A and B teams as a result of their performances.
